I went to this Nepal embassy in November 17. 2023. After going to the office and filling the form, and online application I got the tourist visa for Nepal within 20 minutes. The documents required to get a visa . Travel Document, Travel Document color photo copy , case approval letter copy , Hotel booking ,passport size Photo 1 , Air ticket copy, Money Order 15 Days visa = 30$ 30 days visa = 50$ 90 Days visa=125$ The staff in the office is very helpful.

I was there today to pick up my friends passport. There was one of old nasty attitude lady standing. I just asked her to pick up passport she responded like still she is nab. Bad attitude please better sleep at home if you mind to serve customer. Very disappointed 😡. …

Fast efficient service. I came at 9:30 am (recommended to avoid waiting) and received my visa in passport by 10:30 am. All the employees there were ultra courteous and helpful.

I had an amazing experience at Nepal consulate today. My flight is on Sunday I went on Friday to get the Visa. I was so confused and couldn’t figure out how to upload photo and passport picture but then kind madam from the counter personally came and helped me although it was a very busy day. I got the visa on Friday itself. It wasn’t even a long wait. All the staff working there are very friendly and helpful. We have some good good people working there!

I was there few weeks ago to renew Nepali passport for my sister. I was very impressed with service. Specially at front desk, Mr. Mani Pokharel is always working tirelessly, answering questions taking phone calls and helping guide how to take appointments on the their cellphone. Office is small crowded. In my two days visit there were hundreds of people came to get some work done. All the staffs help them as soon spossible. Make sure to have an appointment before coming in.

I have been tried to make an appointment so many times but never happened. Suddenly this morning I could make an appointment fully and Arrived on time. The staff named Mr. Navaraj Bahttarai is Like a Balen Shah in Consulate General of Nepal. First I’ve spoken other person but he was busy somewhere else. So,Navaraj sir is just great. We need more like him in the Consulate. My passport renewal was done within hour. Feel proud to be Nepali_/\_ _/\_ _/\_

I am from NC but had to flew from Atlanta to Renew my mothers Passport to NYC, since Washington DC had no opening dates. The office is in small space but actively engaged with customers service. staff were very kind and professional. Gentleman at main reception try to accommodate me and my mother a seat since we were with a small baby while making sure everyone’s paperwork is good. Mr Navaraj Bhattarai ( if I spelled it right) is the one who took care of our paperwork, is very professional and respectful. I personnel appreciate all of their hard work. Wish we had more locations in the USA.

I went to the consulate general of Nepal to renew my passport. Well, it took me forever to make an appointment. The website doesn’t work properly. The dates are never available. When I called the office to clarify, they gave me vague informations. Even on the day when I found a date for my appointment, I couldn’t select the time and proceed further. When I called them, they asked me to take screen shot of the website. Mr. Nawaraj is the best! Tips: Instead of waiting to make an appointment from the website and waiting weeks on end like me. I recommend you go as a ‘walk-in’ and wait until they are done with the appointed client and get your job done. Better to spend a day and get done with your job rather than waiting for weeks to get an appointment.
